Also, if you’re looking to sneak away to a place with geysers, mountain lakes, and distinctive rock formations that you’ll never see anywhere else, Nevada is just the place for you!

It is the driest state in the United States, which means that it has hot summers and warm mild winters. That’s what makes it one of the best year-round vacationing spots, especially for people looking to escape winter someplace else. You’ll find the following places in Nevada beautiful, and you should also see them while you visit.

· Las Vegas Strip

The Las Vegas Strip is one of the brightest places on earth. It is so bright that you can even see its illumination from space! You haven’t been to Nevada if you don’t do a visit to the Las Vegas Strip. Take an unforgettable walk from Mandalay hotel, all the way to Treasure Island Hotel. You can also enjoy the many entertainment centers, shops, landmarks, and restaurants that you’ll see along the way.

· Hoover Dam

Hoover Dam was built during the Great Depression and was considered an epitome of excellent engineering at that time. It is about 45 minutes from Las Vegas and is where you’ll find Lake Mead. Lake Mead is one of America’s largest reservoirs and supplies hydroelectric power to Nevada, California, and Arizona.

· Valley of Fire State Park

This is the oldest park in Nevada and has a fresh nature spectacle that must not be missed: red rock formations. The unusual rocks were naturally created by solidified dunes more than 150 million years ago and are captivating. Valley of Fire State Park is located about an hour’s drive from Las Vegas.

· The Lakes

You don’t want to miss seeing Lake Mead with its beautiful roads and shores. There is also Lake Tahoe, which has crystal clear blue waters and stunning views of the Sierra Nevada mountains.
